Klink Social Ride
The Klink Cycles Social Ride happens every first and third Wednesday evening throughout the year! The rides are always primarily on bike paths and keep a relaxed pace.
The summer rides starts at the shop and goes along the river bike paths to Clearwater Park in Springfield. The ride then goes back to downtown Springfield and ends at Public House. Swift Campout Overnighter
Klink Cycles will be hosting a Swift Campout on June 21-22 2025! This will be a supported group bike touring event.
We will do an out and back route from Klink Cycles to Ivan Oakes campground. The route will include some gravel but the majority is paved, each day is 31.3 miles. See the route here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50836675
The route will be of intermediate difficulty. The route includes challenging hill climbs and some gravel. Prior experience bike packing is not required, but participants should be prepared for riding a loaded bike with hill climbs. To make sure you will be able to ride 30 miles with touring gear, you should be comfortable riding your bike without gear for 60 miles.
The ride will start at Klink Cycles at 10:00 AM on June 21. We expect get to the campground in the late afternoon. We will head back to Eugene starting at 12:00 PM on June 22.
Klink Cycles is providing reserved campsites as well as repair and first aid support. Participants must bring and carry their own equipment and supplies.

Middle Fork Adventure Ride Overnighter
This is the second ride in our summer 2025 supported bikepacking ride series! The Middle Fork Adventure Ride starts and ends at Greenwaters Park in Oakridge, OR. The ride starts at 10:00am on July 13th and ends on July 14th in the late afternoon.
This route is a loop from Greenwaters Park in Oakridge via Campers Flat group site. The ride is majority unpaved and includes 17 miles of singletrack. Day one is 29 miles with 1653 ft of climbing, and includes the first 10 miles of the Middle Fork Trail. Day two is 39 miles with ~4600 ft of climbing, mostly on gravel roads. Day two ends with descending the Larsion Rock mountain bike trail back into Greenwaters Park. Day two will be significantly more challenging than day one, so there will be a split group that returns back on the same route as day one as an option with less climbing.

The difficulty level for full version of this route is advanced/very difficult, as it includes some technical singletrack and very steep challenging climbs. The alternate out and back version will not be as challenging, but we still classify it as advanced due to the long stretch on singletrack. Prior experience bike packing is not required, but participants should be prepared for riding a loaded bike on singletrack and on challenging hill climbs. Experience riding singletrack and steep gravel climbs is highly recommended.

There will be two classes, "Bike Packing Essentials" on April 30th from 6:30-8 pm at Shift Community Cycles, and "Gear Selection and Navigation" on May 7th, at 6:30-8 pm at Klink Cycles. "Bike Packing Essentials" will cover a general summary of what you need to know before you plan your first bike packing trip. "Gear Selection and Navigation" will cover details of bike packing equipment and how to pick the best gear for your trip. Both classes are free and open to the public.
